Darling Moniker:
D-dependable, A-awesome, R-responsible, L-loyal, I-intelligent, N-nice, G-goofy Introduction:
From the first day I built my dollhouse with my dad, who is an engineer, I was destined to do something in design. I was hooked As an aspiring young architect I was mesmerized with big buildings. Growing up we were very hands on with construction during the remodel of our house and the build outs of my mother's retail stores. I was entrusted with responsibility and accountability at a young age and credit my parents for my fun-loving work hard play hard mentality. I am a Jimmy Buffet Parrothead and a die-hard Florida Gator. I have a passion for adventurous world travel and experiencing new things. I am a bit of a self-proclaimed nerd and don't shy away from the technical intricacies of a project. I am a mom mom and a team mom and in some small way all of these skills have come together to afford me great success in the continual development of my architectural career.
Thanks to my retail background, client customer service is one of my top priorities. This service trickles all the way through the team from of course owner/developer and contractor to city jurisdictions to engineering and design consultants. The success of the project is contingent on all partners coming together to excel at what they do best and as a team we achieve our goals. While at Ryan my leadership and mentorship skills have had the opportunity to advance and I have a large focus on team integration within the design group as well as with our partners in development and construction. With a heightened awareness on other team members values and project drivers we have had the ability to cater our project deliverables to meet the greater project goals of the collective team. I have also expanded my project experiences to include senior living and other pursuit opportunity sectors that Ryan focuses on as well as continue working on industrial and manufacturing project types.
Prior to Ryan, my large long-standing corporate clients include Macy's, The TJX Companies, Prologis, and United Rentals. I have worked on projects for General Dynamics, Honeywell, Wallgreens, Publix, Henkel, IRIS USA, Harmon, Citibank, FedEx, Penske, Knight Transportation, Living Spaces, Medline, OnTrac, NASCAR, and a wide variety of small name clients who are no less important. I have experience with all forms of the development process including design-bid-build, contractor design-build, build-to-suit, speculative development, and tenant improvement. I am a highly dedicated individual with attention to detail and quality. I have a thirst for knowledge and am resourceful. I have an opinion and a voice. I am humble yet direct. I am an executor, a coordinator, and a five-alarm fire fighter. I have high expectations but feel I am fair and genuine. I am looking to join an organization that has an established portfolio, a tenured history, project and client diversity, and an appropriate balance of team members to allow me to continue to succeed and grow at a sustainable and realistic pace.
