List of my operator responsibilities:

1.Making sure myself and coworkers are working safely.

2.Check all jobs prior to run for proper dimensions, ink color match, that the print is legible and matches the print card, that the board grade and type matches what was ordered, and the pallets are going out in the manner the customer and the job ticket has asked for

3.Taking care of all red tag high profile jobs that require a press check approval by the customer, CSR, sales representative, plant manager on occasion, design department, and/or supervisor prior to running for the first time.

4.Taking care of all weekly and monthly maintenance repairs, upkeep of the machine, and ordering needed parts after relacing damaged or worn parts.

5.In the event of a machine shut down, calling my supervisor and maintenance department to resolve any problems I cannot resolve on my own.

6.Make sure my assistant and tail off have all their work instructions and no what their supposed to be doing throughout the day.

7.Monitoring the quality of the run by pulling and check boxes from each pallet throughout the run. As well as watching for damaged boxes and correcting print defects, color variation, delaminated sheets, any tracking, gap sizes, and jumping print, slot, and or die cut registration.
