Supervisory skills in directing the work of craftsmen involved in the following: welding, pipe insulation, steam system operation maintenance and repair, pump maintenance and repair and metal machining.
Responsibilities include: Assigning tasks and personally participating in the more difficult tasks as needed. Responsible for deciding work methods & other technical matters.
Plans, assigns, supervises work of skilled/trades helper on pump repairs, machine work, welding, cutting, brazing, steam fitting and pipe insulation repair and installation projects. Supervise installation, repair and maintenance; maintains and repairs welding equipment. Performs related work as required.
20 plus years related experience include supervisory or lead experience and thorough knowledge of standard tools, equipment, materials, methods and practices of related trades.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the welding, stream fitting and insulation trades; Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals involved in welding tasks.
