Work Experience
Onpoint Construction Services
Owner Operator / President
Jan 2016 – Present
After working in the telecom world for over 16years and starting as a lead tower hand, tower foreman, then as a construction manager I thought I would challenge myself and get out there on my own. As I put my two week notice and had a long conversation with my manager and explained why I was leaving so there would be no miss communication. So long story short a few weeks went by and was approved vendor for the company I was working for and everything worked out, for both sides of the party. After 6 years of owning my own business I had an opportunity to sell, and after all the years of stress of owning your own business and really hard work, I took the agreement and ready to take all my experience to the next company and make them successful and make the client happy. (and I have to give a lot of credit to all the owners of any company cause its not easy and its not worth getting a divorce over hahaha ). Mastec Network Solutions
Construction Manager
(Oct, 2013 – Nov, 2015)
Started on the Sprint / Nextel decommissioning project and worked with 2 inhouse crews and 3 subcontractors. Worked on that project for most of the years while working at the office in Santa Fe Spring. Then I was relocated to our office in Chino where I had to build a team for the L700 project for T-Mobile as we were short staffed and I myself had to get out in the field and climb up and get the jobs completed in the beginning until we built the crews and I showed and trained them in all the specs and configurations of how the site should be built. After that project was completed I moved on to Sirius XM dish installs and AT&T Turf site build. Wireless Infrastructure Services (W.I.S)
Tower Foreman / Tower Lead Hand
(Apr, 2009 – Oct, 2013)
Worked as a main tower lead hand most of the years at this company and the last year as a Foreman and ran a 4 man crew. This company is only about Microwave, Microwave, and Microwave. We did everything from spread spectrum HOPS, 2 foot to 12 foot dishes, 18 gauge to 6 gauge elliptical waveguide and traveled from Arizona to Tacoma Washington and every city in-between. Also had the opportunity to work on broadcast transmission antennas and lines, ENG’s antennas for helicopters and also the cameras (on hotel building or towers like the one up by the Hollywood sign) that show the view of the city that the channel 4 News uses when the weather girl shows a live view of Los Angeles smog or sunset. And built the network for the border patrol, FBI, Coachella, Huntington Beach surf open and the city of Riverside County. I did a lot of climbing cause microwave dishes we never used manlift. So climbed heights from 60ft to 500ft in snow, rain, both, and in the brutal heat in the city of Blyth and chandler Arizona. Optima Networking Services
Tower Lead Hand
(Apr, 2005 – Apr, 2009)
This is where it all started when Optima was still in the city of Los Alamitos. I was about 18 years of age and fresh out of high school and my older brother introduced me to the telecom world. Here at this company I got my feet wet, and started learning the trade and all the fundamentals for safety and how to build a site. Just like the company above we did nothing but Microwave builds and I learned quick and I became a important asset to the team and built the sites clean and efficiently, also had no issues when it came to path aligning the dishes. Education
High School Diploma and self-taught business finances, quickbooks, budgeting, time management, scoping, blueprints, scheduling and all computer programs for spread sheets etc.
