EXPERIENCE

Browns portable welding and machining- Nisku Alberta- Apprentice welder/field laborer and helper. September 10 2021- March 2022

Working at Browns my job included of fabricating bores for machine build up through the align boring process. We specialize in heavy equipment repair and refurbishing as well as manufacturing machined parts for customers. We repaired track frames from d8 dozers up too d11T dozers where I gained most my skills from such as bore welding,machine build up, product metal finishing. Welding processes I got to gain more experience with consisted of Mcaw and Fcaw.

Luxton construction-

British Columbia- Construction field Laborer. May 25 2021 - September 4th 2021 My day to day duties for luxton during their tumbler ridge BC bridge repair project included concrete chipping, cutting grinding, drilling, pouring and finishing, machine operating such as skid steer zoom boom. Towing trailers and setting up road signage, tying in anodes after we cleaned out all the existing corrosion. Assisted apprentice a d journeyman carpenters in building bridge forms.

W&R foundation specialists- Edmonton Alberta, second year welder. July 1st 2020- May 19th 2021

My position duties at W&R included fabrication of 5.5 inch pipe-10 inch. We installed specialized piling. Still piling, screw piling, Foundation repair, concrete pad reinforcements, Experience with hydraulic rams to lift the building back up to grade prior to installing the fabricated piling, skid steer operation mini hoe operation, concrete chipping, cutting and pouring. Towing loaded trailers.

Raptor Mining - Edmonton Alberta second year welder January 23rd 2019 - June 28th 2020 My position at raptor mining products included general shop keeping, machine and equipment maintenance such as forklifts,

overhead cranes, EWPS, Robo vent filters, and compressed air systems. On a daily basis, I assist journeyman and apprentice

welders in getting set up for the day by changing c15/c25 bottles, arranging the wire processor for either MiG or flux core for wire

feed welding. In the past year and counting, I have been taught how to hard face the surface of our buckets to improve the

integrity of the application it may be used for. I have had a great opportunity to work with new to me power tools and learn about

them while I practice my skills, as well as continuing to practice my skills on previous power tools such as grinders, die grinders,

hydraulic presses etc.

Field Laborer. 2016/2017

I worked as a field laborer. I worked in all weather conditions helping install shallow utility gas line services to commercial and

residential housings and buildings. This job included many duties such as locating underground utilities, moving heavy-duty

machinery such as backhoes, track hoes, and underground drills. On a daily basis, I would work with basic hand tools, shovels,

wrenches, pipe wrenches, tape measure, etc. Safety was valued among myself and others each workday. I can properly expose a

line, dig cautiously, and shade a line.

ALCO FABRICATION AND OIL - Nisku,

Summer of 2015 and 2016

I worked several positions for Alco limited such as an electronic saw operator cutting metals to specific requirements for welders

and fitters. I worked as a security guard patrolling around the yard, reporting any activity or suspicions, I was mainly a shop

laborer. My duties generally included housekeeping of the shop such as sweeping and tidying, I was taught how to use an

overhead crane to move heavy/ awkward material. I had to grind and tack metals and assist welders as they needed. On a daily

basis, I would cope with edges of I- beams and tack on plates to fit them to the skids we built. Maintenance of the facility such as

garbage collection, scrap metal collection and cutting the grass and taking care of snow removal.
