Experience Summary:

I have over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. I have extensive knowledge in construction inspection and testing. Received training from ground level with a combination of in-house training courses, hands-on experience and daily field work. Previously, I worked on the City of Atlanta's Federal Street Car Project and storm and water distribution lines for the installation of the rail tracks. My primary responsibilities were working on the storm/sewer infrastructure rehabilitation, which included open cut installation point repairs, cured in place lining, CCTV; with focus on state mandated erosion control measures.

Operation and Maintenance- Construction inspector

Provide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approval plans, specifications,and codes

Coordinate in the field with clients/owners. Consultants, contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies

Measure and record pay quantities

Prepare daily construction reports, identify work activities, daily production, and manpower

Assist the contractor in planning for and scheduling of required inspections

Coordinate 3rd party special material testing inspections

Review and provide input on potential change order issues

Maintain project records

Manage project photographic records

Enforce project construction standards as documented in the Bureau of Engineering Guide Specification

Onsite equipment materials, weather, and field conditions

Identify and convey potential problems such as out of scope work, areas of non-compliance, differing site conditions, and other work inferences with solutions to ensure that projects remain on schedule

Supports the project engineer and contract manager by obtaining field information, test reports, photographs, and review installed quantities to validate accurate progress reporting by contractor

Certifications/Qualifications:

Level 1b Erosion Control certification with Georgia Wildlife Conservatory Commission, CPR & First Aid, Confined Spaces, Trenching 7 Shoring Fundamentals, Fundamentals of Pipe Bursting, and Construction Traffic Control.

USAF 1976-1978
