Graduate Mechanical engineer passionate about working in industrial, commercial and social sectors with the main driving force being adding value and impact to bring positive change and development. Apart from being an engineer by profession, project management is a key area of interest for me and I continuously seek for more knowledge and skills to perfect this. I believe that with effective and efficient management of projects; the world can easily be transformed to a better place for everyone as more development will be achieved within a shorter period of time and will be carried out ensuring that all the stakeholders benefit as required. With the ability to learn quickly; I believe in intelligence, team work and devotion towards achievement of goals. Honesty, fairness, taking responsibility for own actions and morality are some of the personal attributes that I uphold both at work and out of work. Short term goals - to apply skills and knowledge acquired to work diligently amongst professional teams. Learning more in order to sharpen my skills further and contribute more in my working environment.

PROJECTS AND ACADEMIC THESIS
Took part in the redesign and fabrication of plastic recycling machinery fit for the Kenya market at Gear Box workshop in August - September 2018. The main aim of this project was to find productive ways of reducing plastic waste from the environment through recycling to create water bottles and plastic kitchenware.
Undergraduate project, ‘Design of a plastic pyrolysis recycling plant for the Kenya plastics market.’ A productive solution to reduce plastic waste pollution (which is a current global challenge) by creation of diesel fuel from the plastic wastes. The data collected in the project research was used by another group of students to determine the feasibility of the project with the aim of actualizing the idea.

Technical Sales Engineer - November 2018 to present Roles:
• Visiting sites to give technical solutions to existing problems to fulfil clients’ needs regarding water and energy. The key technical areas covered includes: solar energy, generators, borehole solutions, irrigation, water pumps and water treatment plants
• Designing, preparation and presentation of technical project proposals to clients; negotiating and striking business deals.
• Project management; financial aspect, time frame, allocation of labor and other resources for the approved project proposals. Supervision of project installations; scheduling and overseeing preventative maintenance of the equipment installed on sites.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving of the water and energy equipment on sites in case of any errors or failure.

• Watched over the production line at the sugar packaging station ensuring the system was flowing smoothly and reported errors/breakdowns to the shift supervisor. ACHIEVEMENTS
• Served customers in a positive way, which led to being awarded customer service recommendation certificate in the year 2021 by company group CEO at Davis and Shirtliff.
• Scheduled and implemented a water treatment plant rehabilitation project worth Ksh.6,000,000 in one of the big hotels in Nairobi. Supervised the project effectively leading to completion and handover of the plant earlier than the scheduled time. This saved my company as well as the client time and money. This resulted to receiving a recommendation certificate from Davis and Shirtliff group CEO in September 2021 for good project management skills.
• Planned and led customer service trainings at my work station (13 staff members) every Wednesday throughout the year in 2020, reducing customer complaints at the branch level by 70% that year.
