Developed and managed the InstallatIon of BusIness Class backbone Infrastructure Including:Y SIte survey & customer/property mgt. relations.
Securing any special equipment, (lifts, traffic management, etc.)
• Scheduling additional personnel, (police escorts, etc.)
• Supervision of inhouse or contract aerial and U.G construction crews.
• Addressing and solving unforeseen issues & problems.
• Quality control & final interfaces with customer/property mgt.
• Completing any relative paperwork .

Owned and ran a small communications contracting company that worked wIth several vendors installing voice and data systems utilizing Cat3/7 twisted pair and fiber optic cable. Work was performed In office, warehouse, & commercial spaces.
Additionally provided voice & data cabling in NYC publIc schools which provided numerous challenges.
From 1995 to 1998 held InstallatIon contract wIth Staten Island Cable that requIred runnIng 8 to 10 trucks 7 days a week.

• FIrst Telecom job, was traIned as cable TV resIdentIal Installer that had to be a self starter and be able to work on their own. Soon I was considered a top tier contractor and was gIven the responsibility of traInIng new hires. Volunteered to work on System Rebuilds in varIous cable systems in OH, PA, and western NY.
• Less than a year in the field, was placed as supervisor of the drop rebuild In Buffalo whIch was finished on time showing a profit and based on our performance on the drop rebuild, awarded an additional contract of the MDU (apartment) rebuild, which was substantially more lucrative.
• The scope of work for thIs project encompassed the entire spectrum of cable plant construction. Responsibilities started wIth meeting with property owner/ manager, until completion wIth a quality control and CLI leakage test, and final invoice. WorkIng wIth subcontractors and various others, we put forth a maximum effort and despite a myriad of challenges and what at the time seemed to be impossIble problems, again project was brought to successful completion.

Additional Skills
While at VMC, 02 to 06, installing high speed broadband utilizing satellite technology for Hughes Networks. This 2 way radio technology was in its infancy and did extensive R and D including installation of wireless networks which were not supported by the manufacturer, (the original models were USB connected rather than RJ45).
