5-2018 – 4-2019 TRAINING MANAGER
Oversee the training department for the new student hires that come in. This includes working with the instructors on the training yard in Somerset, KY. The driver trainers and dispatchers once the students get placed in a truck for training and making sure all the paper work and payroll has been completed by everyone. Once the student has finished the program set up and give a written and final skills test before they are placed in a truck. 5-2015 -5-2018 OPERATIONS MANAGER DEDICATED DIVISION During this time I overseen the day to day operations of the freight on our dedicated freight business. Working closely with the DM that dispatched all the trucks and made sure the freight lanes where covered. Worked with payroll to ensure the drivers got paid correctly on the routes they ran. Covered for the DM’s if they needed a day off by helping plan and cover loads and replace drives if need be.

During this time, I planned freight lanes covering 48 states. Worked closely with the driver manager to make sure the freight was covered. While doing this I also helped book loads by communicating with customer service on the loads we needed for drivers in certain areas. This was done by using the Manhattan Hemisphere Planning System. 6-2001- 6-2012 DISPATCHER AND CITY OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR Dispatched OTR drivers on general freight loads. On an average of about 45 to 50 trucks every day. These duties included scheduling vacations for time off, any extra pay that needed to be paid, completing Transportation Performance Inc. (TPI) every week, learning and maintaining the use of Omnitracs to track driver’s hours of service, along with safety features. Maintained and dispatched all city drivers for the greater Atlanta GA. area. Contacting customers setting up pickups and deliveries of local freight. Made sure all the BOL were signed and turned in for each load. Keeping track of all the city drivers’ payroll.
