Oversee planning and execution of high voltage, low voltage, and extra low voltage (HV, LV, ELV) electrical instrumentation and controls. Liaise with local authority to confirm room requirements, secure material approval, and coordinate HV intake panel installation. Interface cross-functionally with clients, consultants, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to verify accurate materials and resources per project designs and specifications. Collect, evaluate, and approve/reject all site acceptance tests (SATs) for project electrical systems. Conduct Testing & Commissioning of electrical systems, LV motors, and variable-frequency drives (VFDs).

• Expertly coordinate and facilitate Electrical Engineering operations for the US$35M Marassi District Cooling Plant Project.

• Proficiently utilise AutoCAD to devise, develop, and produce drawings, schematics, and sketches for designs and reports.

• Interface interdepartmentally and collaborate with key project personnel, including: o Civil Engineering and other Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) divisions – to ensure seamless execution of project.

o Project Manager – to identify areas of concern, communicate any progress slippage, and advocate potential mitigations and/or improvement opportunities. o Contractor – to deliver guidance and recommend corrective actions.

• Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) for Design Management and Design Quality aspects of the project.

• Administrate all Technical Support for projects, bolstering the management and review of technical aspects from concept through completion (Design, Construction, Workshop, and Built Drawings, as well as Permitting and Approvals).

ARABTEC CONSTRUCTION W.L.L., Muharraq, Bahrain 08/2017 – 09/2020 Sr. Electrical Engineer & MEP-ICT Design Coordinator Established and deployed technical coordination between MEP and ICT to identify and mitigate any scope gaps. Collaborated with ICT teams and subcontractors to initiate data capture initiatives in alignment with Building Management System (BMS), Fire Alarm System (FAS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) requirements and finalizing BMS/SCADA Point Schedule. Examined all technical rooms and systems of the airport to verify adherence to project specifications and finalise MEP/ICT, Substation, and earthing system designs. Key Contributions:

• Successfully managed Electrical Engineering functions for the US$1.03B Bahrain International Airport Project, an Arabtec and TAV Construction joint venture (ATJV), consulting with Aéroports de Paris Ingénierie (ADPI).

• Skilfully conceptualized and developed the layout plans for Flight Information Display System (FIDS) and Video Walls for all Airport Operations Centre (APOC) rooms throughout the airport.

• Devised and implemented the Interface Coordination Matrix for project sections and systems, including the APRON Handling System, Baggage Handling System (BHS), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), MEP, Safety Assurance System (SAS), and Structural Systems and Engineering (SSE).

• Championed coordination of the Technical Room Rotunda, interfacing MEP-ICT systems with the Apron Handling System and ensuring compliance of the building structure with project requirements.

• Coordinated with the Architectural, BHS, Electrical, and Mechanical teams to ensure project milestones, such as SAS/ICT installation, equipment schedule finalization, and MEP completion.

• Served as Lead Electrical Engineer:

o Regulated commissioning, testing, and final approval of Electrical and Life Safety systems, as well as electrical designs, major electrical equipment, implementation plans. o Controlled finalisation of designs, strategy, and final product of all equipment and systems, including Bedhead Panels, Bedhead Trunking, Compartment Zoning, Earthing, Electrical Works, Fire Alarm and Smoke Control Systems, Isolated Power Supplies, and Nurse Call Stations. o Confirmed client requirements for Brachytherapy, CT scan, Linac, and MRI rooms, all in accordance with HTM standards.

• Interfaced with client representatives to synchronise execution of the Operation Theatre and all pendants within.
