A highly experienced Hybrid Engineer and Supervisor, with over 20 years of experience tasked with overseeing a multitude of operational projects for the life cycle of an asset in both head office and field environments. I have acquired a vast array of experience working in both conventional and unconventional plays in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Montana, California, Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma and Texas.

Through logical planning, coordination and continued participation, I effectively implemented a safe and successful historical well Re-Abandonment program. Due to my active involvement with direct and indirect team members, I was instrumental in bringing multiple historic wells to modern age abandonment compliances.
Applied logical engineering, sound practice and instinctual insight to downhole operations while maintaining focus and effective communication within a high stress operation that prevented a multi-million dollar well from abandonment.
Reduced scheduled RR by 100 days from a multi-well pad program. I concluded a successful operation resulting in a highly motivated and congealed team along with a cost savings of approximately 1.5MM coupled with no recordable incidents. I accredit my focus to sound engineering practices, dedication to mentorship and intuitive knowledge of the area geology for this huge success.
Creative logistical coordination and negotiation tactics coupled with network relationships, I was able to source a team of results driven individuals who delivered on a project with a hard environmental deadline. My talent in sourcing and negotiating with the proper network allowed me to stay focused, keep a sound mind and ensure that all environmental and regulatory requirements were adhered to thus resulting in a the minimum of one full quarter of production being on the books.
Employed proactive project management tactics to a decommissioning project in a weather sensitive location that resulted in the successful decommissioning of equipment from an area known to be unattainable until Q3/Q4.
Provided a production increase in a mature field through my understanding and applied interpretation of reservoir and exploitation engineering principals; I was able to achieve sustained production increase based on my area research analysis of OIP.
Achieved a highly successful and NPT free remote winter operation. My insightful ability to lead, plan and monitor vendor mobilization resulted in cost savings to the program due to no lost or down time.
Reduced area TRIR from 1.83 to 0.78 while reducing RR-RR by an average of 4.5 days. Daily mentorship and coaching of operational best practices to team members and positive reinforcement of best practices associated to a safe and efficient operation allowed my team in achieving the corporate safety record for TRIR.
