RESPONSIBILITY

Preparing work schedule in accordance with project master schedule.

Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly/ reports with respect to review of the overall project.

Co ordinate internal project team reviews followed by an approval and review by the client of the work schedule, progress measurement and reporting systems.

Review status reports, modify schedules and plans as required and keep the management and Project director apprised of the progress on a regular basis.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Superior.

Responsible for monitoring and checking site installations performed by subcontractors to ensure its adherence to the drawings and specifications

Taking the quantities and handling the tasks of monitoring the development of installation

Ordering the Required material as per Specifications.

Coordinating with other trades civil, mechanical, finishing to avoid repetitive work

Handle the tasks of supporting senior level site engineers in complex commissioning of electrical equipment

Low voltage Electrical distribution, erection, testing & commissioning of motors, transformers, switchgears & relays.

Voltage drops calculations, selection of cables & wires, switchgears, motors, short circuit calculation.

Responsible for implementation of Electrical & Instrumentation activities through suitable quality systems and to ensure that the Inspection and Test Plans are properly implemented.

Regulating all the Construction & Testing activities as per the approved ITP & method statement.

Coordinating with the construction field engineers & supervisor for smooth flow of inspection by raising RFI’s for witnessing with TPI/Client.

Ensure that project controls documents such as resources histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems, etc. are fully developed and reviewed by Construction Management and that Engineering and Procurement interfaces are properly addressed.

Perform the tasks of maintaining drawing registers, drawing files as well as site filing system

Always following the updated drawing and submitting the variation report to the contracts dept.

Preparation of shop Drawings, raising timely invoices, variations, claims and settlement, bill of quantities, finalization of various suppliers, subcontractors, work planning and execution of works with optimum resources.

Responsible for preparing method statements and completed construction documents

Rising of Technical Query for the thing’s which deviates from specifications and typical installation.

Preparation of Load Calculation & Schedule of DB’s, SMDB & MDP

Witnessing of all LV & MV Cables IR (Megger), installation checks & test as per the specification.

Installation of the Primary Earthing, Secondary earthing & Lightning Protection systems & measuring of grounding resistance values of the pit.

Inspection of Installation & testing of lighting fixtures, power sockets and welding sockets.

The rise of the cable immediately from the ground shall be enclosed in PVC/PE pipe of suitable diameter to protect against direct exposure to the sun.

The cable shall be properly fastened using non-metallic clamps.

Appropriate labels shall be fixed identifying the phase circuit, voltage and date of commissioning etc., on the cable supporting structure.

Protection from contact with the exposed metal work at the termination shall be provided by resin bonded glass fibber shroud.

The cable jointing personnel shall have good experience in the type of joint and termination that are used.

The jointing works shall commence as soon as two or three lengths of cable have been laid. All care should be taken to protect the factory plumbed caps/seals on the cable ends and the cable end shall be sealed whenever the end is exposed for tests.
