OBJECTIVE
Job Qualifications – Armed Driver/Guard Staff Member– Darius Jeremiah Johnson, Veteran
I am a military veteran with five years’ experience specializing in Riflery, Aerial Delivery and Parachute Packing. I believe my experience in these areas would qualify me to be an Armed Driver Guard with Loomis.
With my time in the military, I have hands-on experience with assembly and disassembly of weapons, such as the 249-Bravo, the M-24 grenade launcher, and the M-14 and M-16 assault rifles. This required reading blueprints to learn how to assemble and disassemble prior to being tested on our skills of doing these tasks without blueprints. This required studying manuals and ensuring that all instructions and safety and security precautions were strictly adhered to.
Also, in packing parachutes, there were various drawings and blue prints that had to read and learned to be able to perform the packing and re-packing tasks. Also, there were requirements to identify defects in the parachute and/or packing materials for which repairs and normal maintenance activities had to be applied. I also had to ensure that all the proper materials and tools were available and on-hand. This required coordination with our supply chain to ensure replacement materials were on-hand or on order. All of these skills required a very high degree of quality and following procedures verbatim. I mastered all the skills necessary to become a Sr. Packer and my job entailed reviewing subordinates work and strictly critiquing their skills. Also in doing this strict accountability of materials had to maintained, as well as, observing issues and solving problems with subordinates.
With my service in the Army, I have experience being on watch and protecting government property and assets, along with verifying all personnel’s id through logs and CAC Card information. In my position I was trained to be a rifleman first. I was qualified as a sharpshooter with the m14 assault rifle and also on the 249 bravo machine gun. I also have experience on radio communications through military land navigation training.
I possess MS Office software skills, as I am attending college for my bachelor degree.
Thank you for considering me for the Security Police Office position at Pantex. It would be an honor to be able to service my country in this manner and look forward to hearing from you.

Leadership
Joining the Army at the age of 19 gave me a lot of responsibility I quickly had to learn to manage. With time I became a squad leader and was granted other duties within my unit. I feel this training and freedom given from my superiors gave me the tools I need to lead not just in the military, but in every day civilian life as well.
Physical Fitness
My whole life I have valued physical fitness. I believe that ones body should be their most sacred treasure, so I take care of mine. I also know that to be a security officer you must be in shape. Ive taken the proper measurements to meet this requirement months in advance before submitting my application.
