SPCA Klerksdorp Volunteer April 2012 - March 2013
Volunteered at the local SPCA to do something for the community and help those in need.
I was responsible for aided the animals by bathing them as well as keeping them fed and active during the day. VOLUNTEER

Assisting in deliveries of parcels and food orders. As a driver for Mr. Delivery responsibilities included being able to pick up food in a certain amount of time and able to deliver the food in a time efficient manner before the deadline was reached, able to communicate to my manager in regards of any delay's which may have an impact on my work. With this I had the opportunity to work closely with a number of individuals from different backgrounds as well as experiencing how the food industry works in order to give to the consumer what is wanted.
As a driver for Takealot.com, my responsibilities included picking up parcels from the head office, ensuring I have the correct amout of parcels set aside for me as well as have a clear route of planning in order to show I know where I am going and which clients I will be seeing. I had the repsonsibility of delivering FNB bank cards to customers and then ensuring that the correct individual is handed the card. Therefor I had to valid the identity of the person by means of an ID document, recent proof of address or recent banking statement.

I started as an dispatch assistant at Herotel Potchefstroom, previously know as Safricom North West for the dispatch supervisor, where my duties mainly focused on admin. As time processed the need for a dispatch controller working under the supervisor did arise where the duties were the following.
Assisting technician with contacting clients in order to resolve their internet needs, being part of client relations/customer care to assist with any problem that did arise from the clients side. Being responsible for completing the scheduling of the following day, (contacting the client via telephone as well confriming the appointment via SMS) in order to know what work will go to which technician and in what area they will be needed.
Being responsible for the invoicing of completed work which were done by the technicians.
As well as being able to work under pressure and completing work within working hours.
Where I am needed I will lend a helping hand, I have no problem with going the extra mile.
I have experience is Stock Control (examining the techicians' tickets of the following day and booking out the correct stock to each technician). I have knowlegde as how to remove used stock from a technicians name.
