Duties include medical surveillance, safety, preventive medicine, and accident investigation. No direct primary care for serviced members unless in a deployed environment. Named the “Theodore Lyster Flight Surgeon of the Year for 2011” by the Society of Army Flight Surgeon’s. Aeromedical Physician Assistant, Task Force 171 General Support Aviation Battalion, Georgia Army National Guard, Operation New Dawn, Iraq Central and Southern Zone area of Operations. Duties included but not limited to aeromedical support to over 700 Task Force Dragonmaster Soldiers stationed throughout the theatre. Operating stations included Taji, Kalsu, Ramaadi, Al Asad, Balad, and Basra. Responsible for all medical sustainment of aviation and ground personnel to include daily sick call, trauma care, and supervision of MEDEVAC medical personnel.

General Medical interpreter for Arabic patients of all categories. Three month Orthopaedic Trauma tour at Ibn Sina hospital in Baghdad.
