I have completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Geology and honours from the University of the Western Cape. I was working as a Geographic Information System Technician at MEDIA24, busy on data cleaning and management. I'm searching for occupation in the within the Data Mining and GIS industry. I have done a course in Oil Field Development an Integrated Approach, with emphasis on Reservoir Geology and Log Analysis and insights in Reservoir Engineering and Drilling Techniques & Well Activities. I also have a course in Environmental Physics as my second major. I also have worked with a number of software's such as Synergy Interactive Petrophysics, Petrel Schlumberger, Genamap Aur and ESRI's ArcGIS.
I am a self-motivated, diligent individual, committed to achieving high standards of competence and professionalism in my work. I believe in level-headedness and like to approach a task step by step and when making a decision, I like to take into account how others may be affected by the outcomes. I believe that I am eminently suitable for the position because of my personality and the will to succeed in the fore- mentioned fields.
