Experience in start-up, turn-arounds, construction, and maintenance of industrial and commercial facilities.
Experience with belt and hook pole climbing and working from aerial equipment.
Problem solving, analytical and result oriented, reading and drawing prints, schematics and utilizing resources for all MV/HV line and substation equipment to facilitate electrical repairs in the most expedient and cost-effective manner.
Test circuits and analyze electrical machinery and equipment in a timely manner to ensure compatibility and safety of components with instruments as ohmmeter, megger, ammeter, Dolby & Multi-Amp testers on voltages 12-24VDC, 120 – 480VAC, and 4160 – 13.8KV AC.
Assess and adjust priorities and refocus efforts as needed to meet individual project requirements, workload, and program objectives.
Maintain portable and stationary airfield lighting, UPS, DC, AC, and emergency power generation systems and controls (up to 165KW and EMD Turbine Generators).
Install, modify, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electric power controlling equipment and/or distribution lines.
Install, modify, test, repair, and maintain transformers, converters, regulators, cables, switches, circuit breakers, MCC switch gear and other circuit elements in substations, conversion, and inversion side of VFD’s, PLC’s, overhead doors, conveyer belt motors, vibration and safety systems. Familiar with cathodic protection testing, installation & maintenance.
Install, modify, connect, inspect, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines.
Troubleshoot distribution circuits, generating and controlling equipment.
Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules, NEC regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Use and maintain various hand and power tools, hot-line tools and test equipment such as oscillators, meggers, phase sticks, phase rotation meters, multimeters, digital test equipment, and cable locating and fault-finding equipment.
Safety
Facilitate Behavioral Science Technology (BST) practices, and experience with Hazmat and Spill Response teams, radio communication skills, security procedures, all work permits, Health, Safety & Environmental assessments, OSHA standards and regulations.
Completed Online OSHA 30 Hr Construction Courses.
Computer
Experience in MS Office Suite products in both, PC and Apple-iOS systems, EMS, DCS and SETSIM process control systems; willing and able to learn and effectively utilize computer based labor, inventory, and maintenance tracking applications.
