Objective

Work History

TAROT CARD READER, SELF-EMPLOYED, LAS VEGAS NV

2011 - PRESENT

After memorizing the cards and their meanings, and practicing on almost a daily level at both interactions with cards and various websites and books, I have done countless readings for friends, family, co-workers and other acquaintances, by way of Email, sms, phone call and in person. Thought to have failed once with a particular reading for a friend that eventually resolved correctly over time, I have an impeccable record of delivering readings that are accurate, with the most recent one being for a client in which I only knew their name alone, without knowing what they wanted the reading for or what was going on in their life. The reading was suggested by a co-worker, using a spread that I myself invented to identify particular people that I choose to do readings for, usually as a primer to demonstrate my talent. Said client was quite shocked that I managed to explain the dilemma he was currently facing, and was even a bit frightened once we met after I had delivered the reading. It was this accomplishment that pushed me to try and turn this particular gift into a full- time career.

STORE CLERK, PROMOTED TO TEAM LEAD, GREEN VALLEY GROCERY 31, LAS VEGAS NV

2018 - PRESENT

Most of the jobs I have held over the course of my life have dealt with the public. Customer service has almost always been a necessity at each job, and I have a habit of entertaining customers with banter while they wait for me to ring up their purchases (or while they operate their credit cards). I get bored too easily with simple jobs like the one I’m currently paying the bills with, so I have to find ways to entertain myself and customer service is a great way to do that (at least for me). Most of the time I relate to people with regards to entertainment venues, such as movies, streamed shows, or video games, and most of the time the conversations are fulfilling enough so that I can continue these interactions with repeat customers over time. CAGE CASHIER/LEAD CAGE CASHIER, ARIZONA CHARLIE’S BOULDER HOTEL AND CASINO, LAS VEGAS NV

2006 - 2017

At the time I found this work to be the most satisfying because of the nature of the challenge of balancing drawers with large sums of money, errors only allowed within a ten dollar range. Customer service is of course a major part of working inside a casino cage, especially when dealing with high- level players that sometimes challenge you with their behavior based on their status. Regularly there were shoppers sent to secretly evaluate us as we worked, and those that managed to score perfectly on said tests were rewarded. I was honored four times for this feat, three of which resulted in a personalized coffee mug (which I still own and sometimes use to this day). The fourth time, unfortunately, only resulted in a Smores packet. The same talents I use today in my current position were ones I have honed over time, and this particular job was the place I learned them the best. Education
