I have been a self employed real estate agent and broker since being honorably discharged from military service in 1996. I am a self-starter, who needs little direction and can learn quickly.
During my time in the United States Navy, my job function was that of a Operating Room Technologist. Part of my duties included working with, sterilizing, and maintaining the equipment necessary for operations throughout the hospital as well as adjacent clinics. Not only did I have experience as a surgical technologist working in the operating room suites, but also in the field in combat conditions that were less than ideal. Operating autoclaves in a harsh desert environment prepared me for finding solutions and directing others to complete the various mission at hand.
At my final duty station (Portsmouth VA); I was the “lead petty officer” of the Central Sterilization Unit. I was responsible for the maintenance, recordkeeping, distribution of instrumentation for the hospital; as well as managing the schedule and operation of the junior staff within the unit.
