Worked in Rikka Water Treatment Plant Ministry of Public Works (KUWAIT) Under National Kharafi Co Ltd as a “PLANT OPERATOR”(STP) During the since from 14 Sep 2002 to 12 Nov 2004.

Job Responsibility.

(Major responsibilities and target accomplishments expected of the position including the typical problem encountered in carrying out the responsibilities.)

Controlling the process through SCADA System and retrieving records whenever required. Maintain the water treatment plant systems in order to ensure the availability of a clean community water supply. Maintain the treatment plant systems.

Maintain and operate the filtering and chemical treatment processes.

Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant.

Inspection of pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment, controls, circulation pumps boilers, heat exchangers and valves. Ensure an adequate supply of water for domestic consumption and firefighting.

Issue work request for servicing and repairs.

Arrange for major repairs, Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure proper operations.

Schedule a preventative maintenance program.

Conduct inspections of mechanical, generators, electrical and other building.

Conduct inspections of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.

Maintain the general administration of the Water/Sewer system.

Maintain daily log book.

Supervise and schedule the activities of the Water Plant Operator Assistant.

Add chemicals, such chlorine, Sulphuric Acid, Antiscalant to disinfect water or other liquids.

JOB DESCRIPTION

-To operate pump and chlorinators in Water Station inclusive of the reservoir sites and

water tower simultaneously

DISCRIPTION RESERVOIR PUMPING STATION For Distribution & Network OF Potable Water.

Distillate inlet flow & pressure for maintain the reservoir level by Flow control valve..

Check Pre-chlorine concentration from distillate inlet & post chlorine from rising main outlet hourly in each shift.

Operate all equipments by operator Control Panel, from, SCADA system, HMI and MCC. Regarding the pumping station follow up by NWCC, Supervisor, and Operation Manager.

Maintain the flow and pressure as per network demand .

Take parameters reading of all running equipments every hour.

Observation and monitoring all running, standby rest operation equipment’s.

Check lubrication system, periodically, preventive maintenance. (like oil, grease, etc.)

Pre-caution, pre-inspection before start the pump.

After starting the pump check post inspection.

Operate as above requirement of rising main pressure control by pump Rpm, Throttling Valve, Control Valve, Re-circulation, and Surge Vessel Tank.

Prepare log sheet. Log book, taking reading of temp pressure, level, flow rate and amperes of different kind of pumps and its auxiliary.

Responsible for plant operation, handling of measuring instrument and devices, renovation, work order inspection panels and axillaries.

Conducting & control the water distribution system.

Plant start-up & shut down Process.

OPERATION RESPONSBILITIES;

1.OBSERVATION: - Inspection whole plant /pumping station Rotating & Static equipment’s.

2.OPERATION: - Operate all Rotating equipment’s by O.C.P (Operator Control Panel).

3.MONITORING: - All Rotating & static equipment’s like level, pressure, flow temperature, current, R.P.M, Operating system, alarm, etc.

4.REPORTING: - Whole plant /pumping stations defective equipment and regarding the status of plan information to supervisor as above check list of plant.

5.LOG SHEET: - Maintain all reading parameter in log sheet take every hour reading each shift.

6.LOG BOOK: - Maintain during a shift all maintenance and installation work carried out in log boo for log records with time table and inform to supervisor.

Job Profile SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT

Fully conversant of "SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT" knowing how to purify the Water Sewage or Raw Water, Mechanical Screening, Bar Screen, Comminatory, Flow Meter, Air Blower aerator, Gear Box, Dosing Pump, Feed Pump, Backwash Pump, Aeration Tank, Settling Tank, Chlorine & Effluent Tank, Before operation the plant ensure all the pump/ valves are in safe position, malignance the daily operation log sheet, troubleshooting or abnormal behavior of various unit in his charge and rectification, lubrication of unit in charge. Every month tank sample test, every twice month do the backwash & programmed. Checked the cartridge filter inlet and outlet pressure if there is different pressure change over the filter safely, treatment sewage effluent is to be used for irrigation purpose or for discharge to drain field and shall comply with follow effluent.

Looking after post-treatment, primary treatment and cursory treatment.

Sewage water received from sewage water pumping station and screening carried out.

Collection in the pumping station and pre- treatment.

Chronic dosing as per domed.

Fillip the log sheet with help of controlling at the parameter
