Uber and Lyft Driver

Initially, I was working at Keystone Quality Transport. My co-worker introduced me to Uber as a part-time driver. I went online and drove for Uber several weeks and discovered this was a growing industry and I added Lyft as another source of income. 2014 to 2016

At Keystone Quality Transport, I was a D.O.T. Commercial Driver. A typical day was working with the Aide on a transport bus. We had a specific route, picking-up medically challenged individuals and driving them to a Mercy Life Center. At the end of the day we would bring them back to their pick-up location. I am a member of The Mortgage Association of America, I joined Equity One, Inc. as a Senior Loan Officer. I was placed in the Retention Department (“Save-a-payoff”). If a call came in from a client asking for a pay off amount, I would provide advise regarding how the client can save money by keeping their loan with Equity One, Inc. Having worked with Office Depot, Corporate Interiors hired me as the New Account Manager. My day consisted of outside and inside sales calls. Some orders were filled quickly, while others required a longer lead time. I liked this job because I was creating a relationship with the customer to determine what furniture needs they have. I worked for Office Depot’s new commercial sales division right out of college. I was living outside Philadelphia and I was one of the top representatives in sales per month. My manager knew that I lived outside of New York City my whole life. Office Depot, at that time, was spending a lot of time competing in a retail setting. Our division was not related to Office Depot’s retail side. I was offered the Senior Account Manager position for commercial sales in NYC.
