Description Macro Lathe automates the programming part of CNC Lathe machines. It uses the Macro CAD to create part drawing. Using DXF import facility the diagram can be imported to Macro lathe. Once the diagram is imported MACRO Lathe detects all cutting edges and surface allowing you to easily apply tool paths to geometry and quickly generate an NC program. The Simulation module allows visualizing the lathe cutting operation at various stages. This has integrated project management facility to manage production environment of the job at various stages and allow user to send material request to stores. It is used to create drawing using points,lines, arcs,circle, ellipse and spline with a user interface specifically designed for machinist to reduce data input time

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing the tools,adding features and fixing bugs by understanding the Requirements/issues of the product needs in production perspective

• Designing the user interface using Win Forms based on the requirement

• Coding the application using MS Visual Studio 2017 IDE.

• Developing various DLL modules in C#.

• Committing the codes in SVN to merge the developed module updates on each module completion

• Performing the unit test on the application manually, to check whether it fulfills the product needs

• Debugging the codes and fixes the bugs reported while testing.

• Addresses and fixes the customer reported issues and concerns by modifying the codes as required

• Providing continual support to the users by customizing and tuning the application according to their current needs

• Attending the regular morning meetings to update the sprint status and to discuss the challenges/hurdles and achievements
