Duties and Responsibilities:-
Implementing the quality system, planning the inspection and tests as per the approved Inspection & Test
Plan and signifies its completion and acceptance.
Ensure compliance to the quality requirements as per the specification and inspection stages identified
in the approved ITP’s.
Monitor and conduct regular surveillance to ensure that the quality system is effective.
Conduct inspections as per RFI’s to ensure that work conforms to the project specifications, material
requirements and approved drawings. Offer the work for client inspection and final acceptance.
Coordinate with the third party inspection agency to conduct the required field tests and prepare the
samples for the lab tests.
Follow up Inspection process such as Sub-grade compaction, pre-pour & concrete placement Inspection,
Cube tests & Slump tests on concrete & Backfilling.
To perform pre concrete inspections and ensure that the formwork, rebar’s and the concrete placing are
in accordance with the approved drawings and International Standards.
Supervision of Post Concrete, Concrete Pouring, Curing, Repairing, Backfilling etc.
Prepare daily inspection reports, review the test results and maintain the QC records updated.
Raise Site Observation Reports and Non-Conformance Reports if required.
Attending QA/QC meetings and seminars.
Reporting to Quality control manager on all quality issues.
Coordinating with the construction engineers and client inspectors for clearing designated inspections
(Hold and Witness Points).
Follow up all quality functions as per approved quality records, inspection typical test plan, check list etc.

To coordinate with surveyor to finalize the bench mark survey setting out prior to start of construction.
To follow and ensure the proper filing system (in accordance to the Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document.
