WORK PROFILE

A responsible and energetic utility technician having trained in boiler operations/ maintenance, scaffolding and considerable hands on experience in chiller, cooling tower, air compressor, generator, waste water management and other machines as stipulated in my job responsibilities at different firms. 1. CBRE Outsourcing Company June 2018 To-date

This is an outsourcing organization that provides hard and soft services to organizations. I am attached at MARS/WRIGLEY to facilitate the operations, maintenance and servicing of the boiler and other utilities such as the chiller, compressor, waste water and fire oppression systems Main Responsibilities:- Utility Technician

- Support production operations by ensuring the required parameters of chilled water, steam, power, compressed air, fire oppression system, cold/hot water and waste water treatment

- Carry out maintenance activities either planned or during breakdown

- In charge of utility machines during the shift

- Perform startups and shutting down of the utility machines

- In charge of the boiler loaders

- Assist others contractors by permit preparation and ensuring they are adhering the safety

- Raw materials stocks control

2. THE PANARI HOTEL January 2018 – May 2018

The experience the customer receives is the most important thing in hospitality sector. Steam is Key to bring comfort in the rooms, kitchens, baths, sauna, and the laundry. This process heat is used primarily for heating washing water and subsequent tasks such as pressing, mangling, ironing and finishing the laundry. Main Responsibility: - Boiler/ Machine Operator

- Ensure standard operating procedures for the boiler start up and boiler shut down are followed and adhered

-Ensuring proper operation of the boiler and supply of steam to the process plant

- Asses/check the boilers that were for a long time not operational and replaced worn out parts

- Service the boilers

Maintain, service and analyze, treat and chemical dosing of water

Going beyond prescribed duties by fixing mechanical faults when mechanics are not available to reduce production downtime

Came up with idea to the electrical personnel to modulate the continuous running of screw feeder motors which were heaping woodchips in the furnace and was done successfully thus lowering consumption from a record of 90 to 80 tons per day.

Attained accident free incident during my shift operations to all personnel working under my supervision.
