United States Navy – Carrier Strike Group Eleven (USN) (Everett, WA) 12/2019 – 12/2021

Material and Logistics Manager

Responsible for managing, leading, and overseeing all aspects of material and logistics for 10 ships.

Developed a whole-team approach in all aspects of collection, analysis, and coordination in building an innovative material management Excel database that captured over 2,500 material casualty reports.

Recognized with effectively extrapolating troubled systems parts data through extensive data analysis from the self-built Excel management database on 675 parts requisitions and adding critical repeat requisitions to future allowance change requests, ultimately leading to positive change for future Strike Group deployers.

While on an 11-month Western Pacific deployment, held a pivotal role on a cross-functional team tasked with leading logistics and repair of up to 10 ships with a focus on coordinating 175 replenishments at sea, 190 strike group parts transfers through 200 helicopter transfers, and overseeing 32 critical underway maintenance repairs.

Acknowledged by the Strike Group Admiral as the best in the business as Material / Logistics manager.

United States Navy – Naval Beach Group One (Coronado, CA) 04/2018 – 11/2019

Operations Manager

Demonstrated expert-level skills in overseeing all aspects of daily operations with an emphasis on planning / coordination and scheduling in support of 5 subordinate Commands.

Successfully oversaw all Beach Group training operations requests, while processing over 900 monthly training requests for 40 separate tenant Commands throughout southern California, and 400 monthly service availability requests from the 1st Marine Division – Camp Pendleton California while utilizing 100 plus pieces of organic Beach Group equipment and 2,500 Naval Beach Group personnel spread over 5 Commands.

Spearheaded all training exercises and beach demonstrations for over 1,200 junior Navy personnel during the annual Commander Naval Surface Forces – Pacific midshipmen week in both summers of 2018 and 2019.

Credited with implementing a bi-weekly operational synchronization meeting, consisting of participants from numerous Fleet Commands, Strike Groups and community leaders, with a focus on humanitarian disaster preparedness for the entire pacific coast and Hawaii. Naval Beach Group assets were identified and kept on 72hr tether as the first responders.

Distinguished by senior management for being an exceptional officer, phenomenal leader, and an integral part of the Naval Beach Group’s legacy.

Fire Chief

Successfully managed, led, and oversaw a division of 30 Sailors, a specialty team of 75 expert firefighters, a training team of 120 senior members, and 900 casualty response personnel.

Proactively led over 1,000 personnel through 3 major ship-wide evolutions during an arduous 7-month maintenance availability with a focus on senior leadership coordination, allowing 3 separate 5-day evolutions to conduct live training on a de-commissioned carrier, ensuring all 10 casualty response lockers were professionally trained and qualified in a timely manner. This embodiment of proactive leadership ultimately led to successfully exiting the shipyard 5 days early, which at the time was unprecedented.

Praised by the Commanding Officer for being the best Damage Control Assistant he ever served with in the Fleet, as well as an extraordinary leader who continually elevated the ship to an outstanding condition of readiness setting the bar of excellence for all carriers while displaying professionalism, technical expertise, versatility, and superb mentorship abilities.
