Lead Electrical Engineer – KITEX GARMENTS LTD from June-2017 to till today (4.10 yrs.).

Role & Responsibilities:

Head of Electrical Department.

Day to day coordination and supervision of electrical works in processing plant by planning

and executing according to the work.

Maintenance and operation is the primary objective.

Expertise in improving MTTR/MTBF, Product and Quality improvement project,

Installation and commissioning of machines.

Create a system for review of breakdown to analyse the breakdowns to reduce

operational losses, sharing the knowledge of breakdown in order to rectify it at the

earliest.

Responsible for all electrical maintenance and technical support for heavy industrial fully

automated machines like BLEACHING, WASHING, COLD PAD BATCH DYEING, YARN

DYEING, Printing Machines and finishing machines like DRYER, STENTER and

SANFORIZER.

Maintaining Substation, HT/LT panels, 1250 KVA Transformer, RMU and Capacitor

Panels.

Periodic servicing of KAESER screw type air compressors (598 CFM, 1067CFM) include

changing of oil, oil filter, oil compensator, air filter and daily filter cleaning.

General maintenance, A check and B check of 1250 KVA PERKINS DG and 1500 KVA

CATTERPILLAR DG.

Maintenance related to instrumentation equipment like Flow meters, I to P converters,

Temperature and Level, Load cell, Flow Analyzers and other pneumatic systems.

Carried out cable laying, panel erection and electrical installation for 2500 m3 EFFLUENT

TREATEMENT PLANT.

Hands on experience in machine erection works right from panel fixing, cable tray work,

cable laying, motor terminations and electrical wirings according to control wiring diagram

and commissioning.

Erection and commissioning of 10 MHM screen printing and 3 Tessoma Drying machines,

including power panels for this units, cable laying for this project from substation and all

the related wirings, terminations and electrical installations carried out.

Erection and commissioning of SANTEX make finishing machines like Santa Synpact,

Santex Dryer, and all the works from cable laying, panel wiring and terminations were

carried out.

Erection and commissioning of ZIMMER make printing machine, ZIMMER Loop steamer,

and work include cable laying, termination of motors, PLC wiring according to electrical

schematic, fabrication of panel wirings and testing of its functions.

Electrical Maintenance of OBEM yarn dyeing machines, RF dryer.

Trained in maintenance of SSM yarn soft winding and rewinding machines.

Electrical Maintenance of THERMO ELECTRONICA machines like Thermo powder, Thermo

chem, Thermo vacuum Thermo salt & soda.

Electrical Maintenance of FUKUHARA, MAYER & CIE knitting machines.

Electrical Maintenance of BIANCO Slit open & Rope open machines.

Dismantling of BRUCKNER Stenter and Dryer on procurement of new machines for the

same process.

Electrical Maintenance work of THERMAX make Steam boiler having capacity 6000 Kg/Hr,

3.77 MW output and 10.34 Kg working pressure.

Electrical Maintenance work of THERMAX make Thermopac (Thermic Fluid Heater) having

output 25, 00,000 Kcal/Hr and 2.91 MW.

Planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedule of various machines and

instruments to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.

Good understanding of Electrical drawings enabling for quick trouble shoot of PLC errors

or faults in the system, n also familiar with charts and machine manuals.

Filing of papers required to be submitted to electricity supplying board KSEB ltd.

Monitor the energy consumptions and its reliability with production output.

Skilled in effectively exercising all the safety norms while doing maintenance and

commissioning resulting in zero electrical accident.

Maintain Electrical spares and consumption details upto date and procurement of

required spares.

1. Was part of 66kv substation commissioning at CYBER PARK Kozhikode.

2. Field experience with Power Transformer, Current Transformer, Potential Transformer,

Lightning arrestors, Switch Gears and Metering Circuits.

3. Commissioning of Battery charger, Relay system and Control Panels.
