2020 – Pres Associate Scientist In Vivo Sciences Janssen – Johnson & Johnson Collaboration with teams from various therapeutic area to establish in Vivo models. Global colony management data analysis and process automation. 1. Collaborating with our biomarkers, immunology, neuroscience, and toxicology teams in establishing methodology and protocols and conducting pilot studies as well as identifying resources available to achieve study goals. 2. Working with our global operation leader to establish data collection and automatic analysis tools across global sites, which improved the data unity for downstream comparison as well as improved efficiency in data collection and analysis by 70-80%. 2017 – 2020 RA / Lab Manager Dhawan Lab Beckman Research Institute Resource planning and coordination between core facilities and team members. 1. Working with various cores to arrange and ensure availability of resources needed for studies, including reagents, materials, in vivo cohorts, etc. 2. Serve as a liaison between the principle investigators and postdoctoral researchers and other laboratory associates to ensure progresses of studies 2016 – 2017 Research Assistant Reiter Lab UCLA
Targeting and therapeutic methods for androgen independent prostate cancer. 1. Developed methods to trace prostate cancer cell marker (PSCA) for surgical and clinical purposes. [See: publication (2).]
2. Studied the behavior of androgen sensitive prostate cancer cell lines (e.g., the LNCaP cells) under androgen deprivation conditions, upon overexpression of a transcription factor of our interest, POU3F2. [See: publication (4).] 3. Studied the effect of a novel N-cadherin monoclonal antibody in combination with oral enzalutamide treatments in prostate tumor progression. [See: publication (5),
(6).]
2013 – 2015 Undergraduate Researcher Hong Wu Lab UCLA Transcriptional regulation of DNA damage repair mechanisms. 1. Studied DNA damage response and the repair mechanism upon the loss of Chd1, a chromatin remodeling enzyme. [See: publication (3).] 2. Studied the change in the nuclear expression of stem cell markers in prostate specific Chd1 KO animals via immunohistochemistry. [See: publication (10).] Skills
