Assistant Superintendent Director

I have been employed by the Recreation and Park Commission for East Baton Rouge since 1979.I was responsible for the Trades Maintenance Department while overseeing all Trades personnel (welders,electricians, plumbers,painters,operators,carpenters, mechanics) and 4 foremen until I retired in 2010. Before I retired I was offered a job (created for me) in our Planning and Engineering Dept. to oversee all new construction. We have a Maintenance and Construction Department (CCD) with trades craft in each. I oversee the CCD carpenters, CCD electricians and (P&E) Project Coordinators daily. This includes scheduling with my foremen every morning at 6:00. I keep my Assistant Superintendent of Planning, Director and Assistant Director s abreast of their projects.
