Person re-identification

Description: Building a model of re-identifying people based on the DG-Net. The system will receive the query image of a person and return the location of that person at different cameras if available. The system uses appearance features for comparison and identification.

Contribute:

- Read and analyze relevant articles

- Training model on a personal computer

Skills gained:

- Learn how to train a model

- Learn Pytorch API

License plate detection and recognition

Description: Detect and output license plate from input image as text. Using a pre-trained model from TensorFlow to detect a license plate and then applying easy OCR to read a Text from the plate. Contribute:

- Research the paper and take note of the related work

- Training model on a personal computer

- Learn how to use Python and TensorFlow to build and train a model
