PERSONAL LIFE EXPERIENCE
I spent many years caring for the 7 children that I have raised; efficiently managed a large household with sometimes conflicting schedules. Some of my daily responsibilities included feeding, bathing, transporting, entertaining, tutoring, cleaning, conflict resolution and caring for various illnesses. I have spent many hours volunteering in my children’s classrooms and accompanying them on fieldtrips. I learned the importance of stress management and self-care. I strive to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I enjoy hiking, riding my bike, roller skating and especially swimming. I am working towards becoming fluent in Spanish. I have completed Spanish 1,2,& 3 at Ventura College and continue to practice daily. I also play the flute. I have a strong love of music.
