Project Experience

Electronic Document Development (EDD) is responsible to print the policies, checks and bills for different LOB’s. EDD involves in designing and modifying the forms, reprinting the damaged documents. It also supports the PDF conversion of the printed documents and sending them to Zurich Document Warehouse (ZDW). It supports input in XML, Flat File format and provides real and batch mode document creation using Documaker EWPS and Batch Process. Also, thru WIP process it supports creation of user editable forms using Documaker - iDocs Solution.

Electronic Document Development is a project where we maintain and develop different application using Documaker. We used Documaker Studio or Page Maker to design the forms and load them into Mainframe EDLs after normalization. Under this project we developed new products like Directors and Officers, Zurich Surety Express. Also developed new billing system called Special Bill. Majority of the work covers enhancements and compliance items.

Claim Letters – Direct Markets is one of the Zurich SBU’s dealing primarily in the vehicle sales market. The Direct Market DNOC’s are sent to the insured address which is the same as the invoices. These DNOC’s are created and sent once per month typically around the 8-10 of the months. They are due after a state mandated number of days. For insureds who have security interests listed, the security interests are also sent a copy of the DNOC.

Zurich Award Checks for Incentives – The Direct Market’s Rescissions are sent to insureds who have been issued a DNOC but have satisfied the amount owed. For insureds who have security interests listed, the security interests are also sent a copy of the Rescission.

Ultra is a multiyear program to modernize the existing applications and launch new products for different insurance areas.
