Practice Philosophy :
I emphasize a results oriented practice that concerns itself with the structural,
bio mechanical and physiological aspects of the musculoskeletal system.
Treatment methods include specific spinal manipulation along with a limited amount of adjunctive therapy; primarily traction, assisted stretching, trigger point therapy and electric muscle stimulation. I strongly recommend and instruct my patients in exercises to strengthen and stabilize the spine. My goal is to move the patient from acute care to long term supportive care that will provide them with optimal health over the long term.
Over the years my practices have always emphasized ongoing supportive care.
I am comfortable with a high volume, low overhead practice. My last practice averaged
40-50 patients/ day with 25% overhead and a 70% cash vs 30% insurance ratio.
Personal :
I am married 38 years to Sandra and have 3 grown children. My wife has been a ski instructor at Deer Valley Resort in Park City for the last 11 years. I decided to sell my practice in Ohio to a young chiropractor, who had move to the area, so that I could spend more time in Park City enjoying the mountains with my family. My interest include fitness (competed in CrossFit Open the last 6 years), skiing, hiking and collecting art.
