Coordinated data file reception with technical resources to load activity files onto TDS Microfocus system. Provided support to reporting team creating load notification. Designed process to capture and load existing DISH data for continuity.

Ran team translating unsupported online modules to mainframe CICS used for TDS billing reference tables. Created batch process to edit Switch data files (2012 IE Nominee) using Syncsort DMExpress product. Designed process to convert EBCDIC data to ASCII hexadecimal for batch editing in DMExpress, then conversion back to EBCIDIC for upload to TDS Switches.

Analyzed Microfocus data file formats (fixed block, variable block, VSAM) and designed PERL scripts to fragment/reassemble large (>1gb) production files for comparison/editing on 32 bit Windows systems.

Operated as department expert for electronic claims batch 835/837 processes (COBOL); designed architecture (837); managed initial implementations; supported and enhanced processes; maintained CICS-based 835 transaction viewer; implemented testing regimes to guarantee compliant transactions.

Created business requirements, wrote technical specifications, and performed changes to update patient physical exam benefit eligibility in the Medical Review Subsystem of the CICS Claims processing System.

Designed and created a COBOL batch process to take authorized claims and feed them into the CICS processing system with custom claim bypasses to avoid manual intervention.
