Computer Experience:

I have been using computers for my work for over 40 years. I started out using main frame systems and graduated to changes of may types of PC computer: from Dos systems to current Microsoft based computers.

Employment Search

For the past 15 years I was employed by a Manufacturer from New York that produced liquid fertilizer and other soil treatment. My territory included the Rocky Mountain states from Montana down to Arizona. The company was sold and I no longer work for the new owner.

I was in charge of all operations in my territory. This included servicing and supporting Distributors as well as conducting some direct sales. My position required that supervise all inventory for my region and I billed all sales in the area. This would include costs for inventory as well as associated freight costs. In this position I was also responsible for doing trade shows and training sales force personal. Needless to say: I was required to do a great deal of traveling. After the pandemic I would do some presentations using zoom technology.

CURRENTLY

I am seeking new employment here in Billings. I wen a house here and spent my youth growing up here in Billings. Due to my age and the pandemic I am no longer able to do excessive traveling but would like to find some office work. Prior to working as District Manager I have years of experience as accountant. Here is a list of some of my past employment:

After graduating from the University I was employed KGWC TV in Casper Wyoming as a Controller. I set up the entire accounting system and integrated it with a new traffic system designed for Broadcasting. I produced monthly financial statements. Prepared and monitored budgets for all departments. Over sighted review from outside accounting firms. I worked there from 1984 to 1991. For the last 3 years I was promoted to General Manager.

Employed as a controller for Forgey Construction Company in Casper Wyoming. The Company specialized in dirt work. The main source of income was overburden removal at a mine owned by Exxon. The company netted over 6 million dollars from the operation. They also performed highway work and had a large sheep ranch. I was responsible for all the accounting and office work, I only had the staff only one other person. I was employed there for 3 years until the mine closed and the company sold its equipment.

This was my first accounting job. The company was a large highway construction Company. They had over 500 employees that they paid on a weekly basis. The foreman would turn in the time cards on Monday and the office would code the cards as to what job they were on and what equipment they operated, By Wednesday the card were turned over to the computer department and checks were printed to be handed out on Friday.

I also would code out accounts payable and did check reconciliations. I worked there for 3 years.
