I completed a 60-hr. internship {through an early childhood education course} as a voluntary teacher’s assistant in which I supervised entertained and did

creative art projects with the three-yr-old’s class from, February to March of 1997 at First United Methodist Preschool {a NAEYCE accredited school}. I also, received an award for an abundance of voluntary hours completed at Fort Monroe Child Development Center in May of 2000 as an aide of two’s, three’s, and four-yr-old’s

teachers.

In October of 2000 I completed a TAEYCE workshop and in March of 2001, I

completed a VAEYCE workshop while working at First United Methodist Preschool. From April to May of 2003 I completed another 60-hr. internship {through, another, Early Childhood Education course} as a voluntary teacher’s

aide observing, entertaining toddlers, three’s, and four-yr-old’s, at the Richard M. Bagley Childcare Center. Due to a completed training session in October of 2004 at Orcutt Baptist School I’m also certified {until October of 2006} through the American Red Cross in First Aid, and Infant/ Child CPR. In addition, I completed two other teacher’s training workshops in December of 2004 and in January of 2005 also through Orcutt Baptist School. I’m also a kind, creative, enthusiastic, and diligent person with excellent organization skills. I practice preschool arts and crafts in my spare time, and frequently research Early Childhood Education methods on the Internet. I’m also a writer and have had a few poems published through “Po- etry Com.” and “Voices Network”. I wrote a book from 2007 to 2021, which I never plan publishing. I’m now working on a book about I and my best special needs friend. I plan publishing it someday. I love writing. Expressing myself through it’s fun. I also love working with words and sentences.
