Additionally, called on to perform all the Controller duties for Georgia Carpet Outlets, due to a management realignment that drew the controller to other duties. Also, leader of several special critical projects, such as the Vital Measurement Team, which consisted of very large Excel documents & files, that examined ways to trim costs that would produce a $74 Million-dollar cost savings its first year. Also, a very integral part of a wind down team for a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Directly oversaw and produced 1099’s, sales tax accounting, the General Ledger, all Balance Sheets, the companies Income Statement, consolidation of a variety of inter-company books, handled all rebate programs, managed the company banking, set up accounting for new locations and identified and closed out unprofitable locations. Monthly Close in a three-day timeline, performing many Accrual entries each month. This effort has led to over $12,000 in individual incentive raises during the last six-month period alone!
