Managing Network as Services Program in Tech. Strategy. Managed to deploy Velocloud (vMware) SDWAN solution. Infrastructure build, VCO orchestration, Gateway build and integration with MPLS. Scripting and API calls. Secure by Design review of the Network design and for infrastructure protection. Ensure that all the Network end points are secure. Identify vulnerabilities and a plan in place to address them. Work with security team to issue TRA and get executive agreement and sign off. Work with internal and vendor to close the TRA timely. Project review for Privacy Impact assessment ( PIA). Ensure personal data is securely stored and data access is managed and a process in place for data access and data retention.

Integrate SDWAN with security product Prisma firewall ( Palo Alto). Testing and certify security Palo Alto security solution. IPSec, BGP, tunnel monitoring and local HA. VCO, WAN/LAN integration. Certify edge routers. For WAN/LAN performance and feature testing.

Alarms and logs integration with SPLUNK to create ticket in Remedy/SNOW and SDWAN dashboard for operations support and troubleshooting. AP calls for edge routers.

Cisco Viptela cloud based WAN solution implementation. Cisco edge routers testing and certification for performance and features. Implement new features in Agile and DevOps model.

Cisco SD-WAN integration with Palo Alto security product (Prisma ). IPSec, tunnel monitoring and testing to certify product and operations readiness to launch the product.

Gateway Build, UCS server, Nexus 9000 switch integration and capacity addition for the gateways. Provide HLD and LLD for vLAN, IP planning, cabling specification and port assignment. vCenter build and integrate vMware hypervisor, containers, ESXi. This is Federal and Provincial Govt. project for researchers in Canada. I have successfully delivered private cloud computing solution for Canadian researchers to analyze their research data. Identify business requirements and translated into solution delivery. Delivery of QTY 1000 servers, storage, network ( WAN/LAN ) and high performance GPU nodes. Install HPC solution and implement low level design and complete performance testing. Exceeded all the performance KPI's and complete acceptance.

Telus NB-IoT for Smart Parking 2016-2017

Worked with Telus Tech. Strategy to conduct trial for NB-IoT for smart parking located in Telus Garden Vancouver.WAN/LAN integration with sites. Phase I completed successfully and project moved to phase II undertaken by another project manager.

Huawei CSIC Center May 2016 Jan 2017

CSIC center is an innovative customer solution experience center, where Huawei services and products are demonstrated in a high end home environment and customers can actually see the performance of Huawei products and services. Project include to design and build high tech home and integrate data center, wireless, wire line ( WAN/LAN), devices, 5G and IOT (Internet of things) solutions in various areas of Home. This Innovative center is one of kind in North America.

Bell CANADA - LTE TDD 2014-2015

Successful project delivery for LTE TDD ( Radio Network ) deployment and customization of CPE device to meet Bell requirements. Project was under Govt. of Canada program to improve fixed wireless internet service for underserved areas

SaskTel LTE TDD Device Improvement

Huawei LET TDD CPE device did not work in Canadian cold frigid temperature. I worked with customer, R&D ( China ) and gone through rigorous testing plan to improve product performance. Finally improved product was launched for LTE TDD deployment in Saskatchewan province. This was special assignment project.

Lab and Operations support Center Build: Phase 1, II Aug 2011- Jun 2012, Mar 2015-Nov 2016

Managed Huawei lab Phase1 and Phase II projects for Lab and TAC facilities build for Huawei Canada. Scope of work includes to detail the scope of work for Architecture design, AC, DC power requirement, HVAC design, RAN, Core and Data Center. Conduct bidding and award of work. Implement scope on time and on budget project delivery. After completing Installs, Network integration and complete testing for operations handover.

Huawei-Telus Holborne Project Alberta (HSPA+) Aug 2009-Dec 2009

Successfully and on time delivery of 740 cell sites in Alberta province for Telus network. Project scope includes to deploy 740 sites. Commissioning and integration with radio and core network and test for voice, data and 911 with regional PSAP. Optimized 14 clusters in Edmonton and Calgary. Complete testing and achieved KPI’s. On time project delivery within the budget.

SaskTel Wireless project Phase II June 2013- Mar 2015

Delivery of 400 sites, Commissioning, integration with radio and core network. Testing for voice and 911 services with regional public safety answering system Addition of three radio network controllers in Saskatoon and Regina.

SaskTel Wireless Project Phase I Dec 2009- June 2011

Delivery of 550 cell sites, Radio network controller, Operation support system. Commissioning and integration of sites, test for voice and 911 service. Optimizing radio network in Regina and Saskatoon.

Huawei-Telus Swap Project Apr 2016-July 2016

Successfully completed pilot project of 10 sites to swap Nokia in Eastern region. Successfully achieved data, voice and 911 testing.

Huawei-CCI WiMAX Project (Alberta)

Project was successfully deployed to provide WiMAX coverage for rural Alberta. Project scope includes hardware delivery for access and core network. Install commission and integrate and test voice and data network. SIP solution was implemented for voice telephony.

Rogers Wireless (2006-2009)

I have been managing wireless rollouts, transmission projects in Rogers Wireless.

Initiate kick off meetings with project members and stakeholders. Review Project Charter and detailed engineering design (civil, provisioning, installation) . Assign resources for various tasks. Manage risks and identify possible disconnects; flag them and address to the right department.

Create work breakdown structure. Develop schedules for implementation and control and monitor project activities, manage resources. Procurement management for the award of project contracts.

Coordinate field activities with project teams, vendors, 3rd parties and other regional network implementation groups. Quality Management, acceptance of project activities as per standards. Conduct meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders, project team and functional departments. Cost management and monitor finance and ensure project is not over budgeted.

WiMAX Samsung Trial 2008

Successfully conduct trial for 9 sites in Toronto for Mobile WiMAX services.

IP backbone upgrade for iPhone

upgrade Inter-switch Ethernet GigE CCT and ISP link to meet growing need of iPhone traffic

SONET ring upgrade

Upgrade sonet ring capacity from 48 to 96 STS.

SS7 SIGTRAN network IP Network

Build SS7 SIGTRAN network on IP platform and migrate transmission on IP based WAN/LAN network

Addition of hundreds of sites for channel add in various phases across Ontario.

MySon Engineering Systems (2004-2006)

Project Engineer

Managed Nokia-Telenor project to deploy GSM Network. Install BTS, commission, Integrate and test the Network. Microwave Installation. Configuration of MW as per link budget.

Conduct Antenna and Feeder Cable tests using Anritsu Site Master s331. Troubleshooting of internal and external alarms and to fix them. Conduct preliminary tests to optimize cell site.
