Exact Sciences- Lead Exception Handler (November 2020-current)

This role, known internally as Lead, Exception Handling, performs the functions of Exception Handler under the guided direction of the Specimen Processing Supervisor, Specimen Processing Manager or designee. The Exception Handling team provides support to both the Specimen Processing Laboratory and the Technical Laboratory. The Exception Handler Lead will follow all laboratory policies and procedures and maintain accurate data reporting practices to ensure consistent and diligent execution of specimen processing. In this leadership position the Exception Hander Lead supports the Specimen Processing Supervisor or designee and shares the responsibility of ensuring the Specimen Processing department operates effectively. The Exception Handler Lead also acts as a subject matter expert in the exception handling processes and provides additional support and guidance to that team.

SSM Health, Outpatient Services- Clinical Laboratory Technician II (September 2019-November 2020)

• Performs the loading and unloading of lab specimens from automated and non-automated laboratory instrumentation, as well as perform various waived testing

• Assists in investigations into problem requisitions and non-compliant specimens
