Worked for a company that mainly focuses on residential building and retrofitting works.

2. Project In Charge at EKA Rigid Construction and Consultancy

(From Jan 2021 until May 2021)

Worked for a small and emerging company that was awarded the civil / masonry works for the construction Ionics building 8 located at Calamba, Laguna:

Conduct toolbox meetings and task distribution to the available manpower.

Coordination and provision of necessary information to main contractor.

Direct supervision and monitoring of daily manpower as well as reporting and submitting of daily / weekly accomplishment report.

Actual evaluation of project progress claims together with the main contractor representative to substantiate claim.

Assist in provision of necessary documents needed by the procurement department of the main contractor

In charge of daily project execution and accomplishments, assign and distribute manpower to designated areas to meet schedule. Also gives ideas, solutions, to every issue regarding site progress.

Managed to handle 100+ workers as the sole supervisor in the project.

3. Quantity Surveyor at THI Engineering and Construction Pte Ltd.

(From July 2019 until June 2020)

A private contractor in Singapore who specializes in construction of various steel works such as cat ladders, pipe railings, checkered platforms, structural framings, etc. job responsibilities are as follows:

Prepare detailed material quantity take offs, checking of material availability and price, and prepare sample project total cost.

Coordination and provision of necessary information to technical team in order to produce shop drawings.

Handling of fabrication works in accordance to approved shop drawings.

Sorting out of vendor, supplier or subcontractor’s quoted price and necessary information for project discussions.

Provision of project progress claims and direct tax invoice to main contractor supplemented with required documents to substantiate claim.

Assessment of client’s payment response to progress claim which is basis in order to assess and prepare payment to subcontractors.

Input all hard copy quotations, payments, delivery orders, transactions, etc. to company’s ERP system (Globe 3) for documentation and record.

Liaise with main contractor and client’s representative to plan and execute works.

Conduct monthly site visits in order to monitor work progress and access issues directly.
