Responsibilities:

-Lead the team in carry out surveying activities of properties and sites to provide information for building construction, alterations, valuations, land use and map making.

-Lead and supervise in the execution of surveying and inspection of properties and sites to establish property boundaries and to provide information for construction Projects.

-Supervise in the inspection of properties on a regular basis to determine need for alterations and repairs.

-Check all shop drawings prepared to ensure the completion of the required activities.

-Check calculation of quantities for project activities such as (earthwork cut & fill, curbstone, asphalt, etc.) to be used as support documents for cost estimation and calculation invoices.

-Prepare reports to managers and staff of the organization on matters relating to building maintenance and modernization to ensure that properties are maintained to the required standards.

-Participate in preparation of tender documentation, including the compilation of designs, drawings, specifications etc.…, and make recommendations on tenders received.

-Assign tasks and assignments to the surveying team and monitor their performance and work output to ensure that work are done effectively.

- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.

- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.

- Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.

- Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.

- Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.

- Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.

-Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
