• Planning, budgets, supply, and implementation of AXIS Communications Video-Surveillance solutions.

• Radio-link’s planning, budgets, supply, and implementation of Cambium Networks broadband microwave and Wi-Fi systems.

• Wi-Fi Site surveys with Ekahau tools, and design and delivery of ARUBA Networks’ Wi-Fi solutions.

• 2010-2011: led a team of Telecom's Engineers specializing in Fiber Optic Networks, IP networks, VoIP, and Microwave Radio Links, to design and prepare the RFP’s of a Telecom Network for the operation of a campus in the Guanta city of Venezuela. The consultancy was requested by the Prime Contractor of the Generation Center, Pacific RIM Energy.

• 2006-2012: provided technical support to S. Industrial C.A., assisting their clients in the acquisition and commissioning of Emergency Power Generators up to 1,5 MVA; preparation of Quotes and post-sale service.

• 1994: led a team of Telecom's Engineers specialized on the Radio spectrum, including one former expert of the NTIA agency at Boulder-Colorado/U.S.A., to prepare the Frequency Bands Allocation Plan for CONATEL, the Venezuelan Telecom Regulatory entity.

• 1992-1993: led the participation in a Bid issued by the Venezuelan’s telecom regulatory agency (CONATEL), to grant concessions to private companies, for becoming authorized operators to exploit nationwide the business of Public phones operated with pre-paid cards. A concession was granted to ETICA in 1993.

• Founded in 1989 the company ETI C.A., an Engineering firm mainly focused on rendering Consultancy to the private and public Telecom markets in Venezuela and abroad. Project Manager & Telecom Specialist in 6 LA countries, contracted by GERASIN C.A., Feb 1989 – August 1999

• 1998-1999: worked as Radio Spectrum specialist of the Venezuelan Consultant firm GERASIN C.A., to carry out a study for optimizing the Frequency Bands in the Spectrum Allocation Plan of the Paraguayan administration CONATEL, and to advise the implementation of Radio-Monitoring Sites into Paraguay.

• 1998: worked as Project Manager of the company GERASIN C.A., to carry out a study for the Design and Procurement of a Public Telecom Network, addressed to support the nationwide operation of the Policía Nacional de El Salvador. The study ended with the delivery of all RFP s for the bids.

• 1995-96: worked as Telecom Manager into the Consortium chosen by the BIRF bank (Gerasin -Bentata -Ernst

& Young), which supported CONAM, the entity of the Ecuadorian government, in the Privatization process of the Public Telephone Enterprise (ENTEL). Main tasks carried out: Network Diagnosis and Demand’s study. Vice-President for Switched Public Network Development, CANTV/ Venezuela, Feb 1984 – Feb 1989.

• Led the Management responsible for the opening and awarding of almost all the Bids into the 5-year Plan, including the acquisition of 1 Million Digital Switched Telephone lines, the first introduction in Venezuela of Digital Microwave Links, and Fiber optic for local and long-haul trunks, to interconnect the biggest cities.

• Led the preparation and Post of the short- and long-term Planning of the Fixed Public Network, the basic and detailed Engineering of all Systems that integrate the public network, and the preparation of all documents related to the RFP's, with the only exemption of the outside plant’s projects.

• Came back to CANTV as Vice-President for Network Development and became a member of CANTV board. President, Teleconsult C.A. / Venezuela, Oct 1980 – January 1984

• For 3.5 years assumed the Presidency of Teleconsult, C.A., and participated directly as the main Consultant for projects that involved tasks since Demand's Study, Network's design and planning, preparation of RFP, up to the final implementation of Private telecom networks, requested by important companies like XEROX, Banco Union, Lagoven/PDVSA, HL Boulton, etc.

• Together with a group of skilled Telecom Engineers, founded the company Teleconsult, C.A., an Engineering firm mainly focused on rendering Consultancy to the private market in Venezuela and abroad. Public Switched Networks Planning Manager, CANTV (Venezuelan telephone Company), May 1968 –Oct 1980

• 1976-1980: assumed the Technical Planning Management at CANTV and being the main milestone the preparation and issuing of a 20-year Technical Plan for the Venezuelan Public Network.

• 1976-1977: worked as CANTV s technical representative in a process to establish a factory in Venezuela

(Maplatex C.A.), with Mixed capital (public and private sectors), to manufacture a set of subscriber network components (telephone sets and outside plant infrastructure). The factory was successfully implemented.

• 1968-1976: worked on the development of technical standards for many components of the Venezuelan network and managed some public Bids for the procurement of Subscriber terminals, and equipment to support some special systems like “Billing digital System” and “Complaint Verification System”.
