Develop construction policies and programs that impact Chicago’s neighborhoods.

Gather and prioritize neighborhood development requests; coordinated legal aspects of land acquisition; worked in partnership with other departments to promote and coordinate city community development and revitalization programs.

Collaborate with government financial personnel, Architectural firms, and Contractors to evaluate engineering project scope, including analyzing construction documents and hard cost projections.

Review design and construction documents for single, multi-family and senior housing for compliance with City and State building codes. Review and approve final construction documents for compliance with HUD and ADA.

Manage construction and infrastructure budget for city-approved housing projects.
