Aircraft Turnaround Coordinator

To plan, organize, deploy and control QAS resources, including those belonging to other agencies, to ensure a safe handling of the turnaround activities. To monitor the turnaround activities so that they meet the agreed level of service delivery, time frame as well as resolve issue(s) which may impact the aircraft turnaround. Liaising and coordinating with both internal and external sections, departments and agencies to ensure turnaround activities are completed for on-time departure. Motivate and supervise both QAS and other agencies resources to meet the precision timings for a turnaround.

Notifying and resolving potential issues, which may affect the safety and security of the aircraft as well as disruption to the turnaround activities.

Coordinate with superiors and QAS resources on hand to support activities relating to airline / airport emergency situations.

Perform safety and security spot check on QAS manpower and equipment at any time before, during and after an aircraft turnaround.

Compile turnaround activities information and file a shift / flight report. Investigate and report incident, accident and/or service lapse that occurs during the turnaround.
