History
I worked for All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Reno Nevada for over 20 years. I left in March of 2021 when the hospital was sold and moved back to Texas. As well as the normal technician duties in surgery and exam rooms, blood draws, urinary and IV catheter placement, I helped educate the public about diseases that are spread from animals to humans; prepared and processed lab samples; processed client payments, sent invoices and placed appointment reminder calls; educated the community about
responsible pet ownership and wildlife care; administered medications; collected feces and urine samples for examination and
analysis; insured cleanliness of kennels and assessed animal health daily; assisted customers by phone, including scheduling appointments and treatments; dressed animals' wounds; wrote new clinic guidelines
for training and educating staff on basic hospital and laboratory protocols and procedures. I was entrusted with maintaining all laboratory equipment and ordering all necessary supplies I am familiar with both Idexx and Abacus Equipment.
