Marketing Manager/Client Lead

I started off as a marketing manager overseeing colleagues on my team to delegate tasks within the company. I created content schedules, oversaw all social media platforms, traveled throughout the country and even out of the country running events, doing outreach, speaking, photography, and community building. I led tech conferences, contributor days, and assisted clients from high profile companies such as Google, Microsoft, Hasura, Cinnabon, Amway, etc. I quickly moved up to Client Lead and controlled/tracked contracts to make sure they were fulfilled and requirements were met pertaining to staying within budget for campaigns, podcasts, streaming, etc.

I was a temporary hire due to I knew I was moving the upcoming year. Yet, they still needed the help and I was qualified to take on the job and it’s responsibilities. I am certified to teach in Minnesota as well as a certified daycare worker, certified babysitter and nanny. I was a teacher/daycare provider of ages ranging from 1 year – 14 years. Depending on which shift I took, was what age group I would be supervising and/or teaching. I created lesson plans and daily schedules which included structured school work, homework help, reading logs, practice activities, and televised learning for my school aged children. I factored in bathroom breaks, pauses, and we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For my daycare kids, I had little lesson plans factored into fun games for easier learning purposes. Televised lessons were a big part in the day care aged children. I had to feed, bathe (if needed), change diapers, and give nap time to all of the younger kids. Periodically I was asked to help enter in the employees work schedules. My job included a lot of foreign workers (Somolian, Ethiopian, etc.) who weren’t as familiar with English as I was. This academy was Islamic following, teaching, and intertwined that in all aspects of curriculum and play. I oversaw funds for supplies and food for a short period of time when food was needed to provide for our children of both the older and younger age groups. I organized, stocked, and alphabetized books and assisted college students. In assisting the students I helped get textbooks, school supplies and other materials as to better serve them in their academic experience at the college. This position required a lot of customer service skills as well. ALso, I worked the front counter and had to help regular customers purchase items.
