Digitalisation of Stores process through Bar code from Material Receipt to Assembly MR Issue stage.
Cost saving of around 3 Lac by using available scrap items made fencing, Racks for stores.
Separate stores formed for LSV function and streamline process.

ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Organizing Structured Stores Function, namely Staffing, Lay-out, Storing Systems/Devices, Preservation of Materials, Handling Systems and discipline in administration of Stores Function.
Admitting Materials inside the factory namely, Verification of Shipping/Delivery Documents, Insurance Documents, Central Excise Documents, Packing Slip, MSDS, Invoice etc.,
Instituting In warding system in Stores namely, Verification of the condition of the Consignment for Transport damages if any, and reporting Transport damages of consignments covered under Insurance, weighing procedures, Inward Inspection System, Segregation of Rejected/Under-Deviation clause materials, and System for Returning Rejected/Rework Materials to the Vendor.
Dealing with discrepancies related to Central Excise, Sales Tax (Central & State taxes) in delivery documents initiated by the Vendor.
Material specifications, implementation of ECNs and ensuring no build-up of Non Moving /obsolete items.
MSDS to Institute proper systems to Handle Materials and Hazards, Protecting materials from Environmental hazards like Fire, Atmospheric/Climatic changes, Chemical Changes etc.
Instituting Perpetual Inventory Audit, reporting Stock Variations and exercising a discipline in material accounting to ensure NIL variation.
Safety Devices to protect Materials, People handling materials and knowledge to deal with Hazards and Accidents.
