TELEMETRY MONITOR TECHNICIAN.

WORK EXPERIENCE.

1. CHI. St. Luke s Hospital, The Woodlands, Texas. 06/2018 - Till date.

Responsible for the monitoring and interpretation of basic EKG rhythms of 60 -80 patients across the hospital units, including the measurement of P-R intervals, QRS width and ST segment deviations, and also recognition of life threatening cardiac arrhythmias.

Printing and interpretation of patient strips every 4 hours, with surgical patients at every 1 hour for the first 4 hours before returning back to the routine strip printing and interpretation of every 4 hours.

Ensuring that patients are on ther monitor at all times except when the patient is on MRI procedure.

Responsible for the ability to operate telemetry equipments, maintenance of inventories, supplies, hardwares, telemetery transmitters in working condition, and to appropriately report malfunctions promptly to the clinical coordinator or assigned manager.

2. Kingwood Medical Center, Kingwood,, Texas. 02/2018 - Till date.

Printing and interpretation of strips of 80-95 patients across the hospital unit at every 4 hours. Measurement of PRI, QRS width, QT and ST intervals. Ensuring that patients are on the monitor at all times except when going for MRI procedures.

Giving the nurses adequate and timely reports on all the patients on the monitor. Communicating with the nurses promptly os any cardiac arrhythmias. Taking adequate stock of telemetry inventories and supplies.

3. Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge, Georgia. 04/2012 - 04/2018.

Monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms of about 90-100 patients across the hospital units. Printing of surgical patient strips at every 1 hour for the first 4 hours while routine printing and interpretation are done at every 4 hours. Ensuring that patients are on the monitor at all times. Reporting any cardiac arrhythmias to the assigned nurse immediately. Notifying the nurses of any unpleasant rhythms and heart rates of their patients.

4. Southern Regional Medical Center, Riverdale, Georgia. 10/2009 - 04/2012.

Responsible for monitoring and reading of cardiac rhythms of patients across the hospital units. Measurement of P-R intervals, QRS width, and ST segment deviation, and reporting any life threatening cardiac arrhythmias to assigned nurse immediately and other cardiac monitoring responsibility as mentioned above.

5. South Fulton Medical Center, East Point, Georgia. 05/2006 - 10/2009.
