2017: Short story “Gambit” received 3rd place in its heat (out of 35 stories) in the second round of the 2017 NYC Midnight Short Story Contest. This result advanced me to the final round, which meant that out of an initial field of over 3,000 writers, I advanced to the final 80.
2019: Completed “National Novel Writing Month” by writing 50,000 words in 30 days on a speculative fiction novel that I am currently revising for publication.
2020: Short story “Ferryman” won first place in its heat (out of 35 stories) in the first round of the 2020 NYC Midnight Short Story Contest.
