WORK EXPERIENCE:

SENIOR ASSOCIATE AT DRUMMOND & SULOCKI - CRIMINAL LAW FIRM October 2018 – July 2021 – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The rm is focused on white-collar crimes and electoral crimes accusations. Not only would I be required to perform the usual tasks in a law rm, such as developing strategies, fact and background checking of clientes and parties, diligencies, organizing meetings, or holding up cases on courtrooms, but I was also in charge of writing and giving out detailed and objective reports for clients, supervising the hiring process of the rm, and responsible for the cooperation with other law rms or private organizations during cases. I was also in charge of talking to public authorities in all levels of hierarchy. and had the opportunity to work on important and midiatic cases involving big rms and politicians such as the “operação lava-jato” (car-wash operation), in which it was required more than the usual discretion, as well as the ability to be one step ahead of the news. LECTURER AT THE POST-GRADUATION PROGRAM IN CRIMINAL SCIENCES - criminology, criminal law and criminal procedure. (March 2020 - Present). As lecturer of the Post-Graduation Program I am in charge of the subjects of criminology, public policies, whitte-collar crimes, and compliance and criminal law in the Health System. It requires me to be always up to date with the most recent developments in the legal literature and rulings of the Courts, and also with the political issues, discussions and tendencies, to be able to understand the development and movements of political parties, private organizations and political players that may in uence decisions, laws and public policies. It is also required of me that I am able to critically analyze the work of students, nd their weak spots, understand their limitations and needs, so I can advise them on their nal work.

RESEARCH COORDINATOR in the research program in presumption of innocence and democratic state of law. (August 2017 – 2021) and in the Research Program of Intellectual Property and aspects of unfair competition. (August 2019 -October 2020) As research coordinator I had to manage the projects we were involved with, report the developments and results for the law department body of the university, be in charge of the selection process of the students who were part of the program, and train them on how to hold up presentations about the research ndings.
