Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students Under the
Coronavirus AID, Relief, and Economic Security
(CARES) Act
APPLICATION FOR A STUDENT EMERGENCY RELIEF GRANT
The U.S. Department of Education has announced that Emergency Financial Aid Grants will be made available to students of our institution who need financial support for their expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to Coronavirus. This application permits students who are eligible to participate in Federal student aid funds administered by the U.S. Department of Education to apply for these need-based grants. If you have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), NETTTS has the information to determine if you meet this requirement. If you have not filed a FAFSA, you should contact the financial aid office at NETTTS as soon as possible so they can assist you in filing a FAFSA.
Campus administration will use the information you provide here to determine your eligibility for a grant and the amount for which you will be eligible. Each student will be eligible for only one grant, and only one application will be considered per student. Please fill out this information neatly and completely and provide it to your campus in person, by mail or email to *********@******.***. Only students who began their training prior to March 27, 2020, and are registered in our administrative system in “ACTIVE” status, and are currently in regular attendance in one of our Title IV approved programs, and who have submitted this completed application no later than May 9, 2020 will be eligible to receive a grant.

Please explain below:
I attest that all information is true and accurate, and I am requesting a one-time Emergency Financial Aid Grant to help cover the cost of expenses incurred due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I understand that I will be unable to revise this request after submitting it, and I understand that the administration of my school will determine my eligibility for grant monies based on my responses to the questions above.
If you become eligible for a grant the school will issue to you “Stipend Checks” in multiple disbursements during your period of enrollment. In the event that a check remains uncashed for 45 days, the school will make every effort to contact the students and re-issue the check. If unsuccessful, the grant funds will be redistributed to another student grant. I further acknowledge that this program is subject to the school receiving Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) proceeds from the U.S. Department of Education. NETTTS will not issue any grants in advance of receiving HEERF proceeds from the Department of Education, nor will NETTTS provide any additional funding to cover any shortfall between the HEERF grant announced by the Department of Education and the actual amount of funds received from the Department of Education for direct disbursement to students.
